Santiago de Compostela, in north-western Spain, marks the end of the Camino de Santiago. Yet the city is shaped not only by its best-known landmarks and streets, but also by the eyes of the countless travellers drawn to it. In this experimental film, Xacio Baño uses actors’ voices to bring to life letters, notes and postcards sent to and from Santiago de Compostela. The result is a poetic travelogue that reveals a shared experience of place, with the city emerging as a space where memory and human connection take tangible form.
