At the beginning of the 1970s, in Wales, twin sisters June and Jennifer Gibbons turned inward and only communicated with one another. As a result, they created a rich, fascinating world to escape the reality of their own lives. The film, based on a true story, tells the painful story of these two unusual, creative beings, profound sisterly love, and destructive dependence.
