Strahinja and his wife Ababuo left Ghana with visions of a better life in Europe. Instead of reaching their dream destination of Germany, they were deported back to Serbia. Strahinja has begun to build a career for himself at the local football club, while Ababuo, a professional actress, is unable to fulfil her ambitions and she feels increasingly frustrated. When Ababuo disappears one day, Strahinja sets out to find her… The story of two African migrants was inspired by the medieval epic poem Strahinja Banović, about a Serbian nobleman searching for his kidnapped wife.
