About the film

Christopher, 24, lives in Oslo, in the Tøyen district, where he rents an apartment with Geir and Stig Inge. Geir likes to live dangerously, and Stig Inge thinks Tøyen is the center of the world and has no plans to move out of it anywhere. Christopher's girlfriend dreams of a closer relationship, but Christopher thinks so well, so Elizabeth leaves him. After a strange fate, Christopher’s video blog begins to appear on one of Norway’s most popular TV talk shows. This is how Christopher and his roommates become celebrities. Henrietė, a new resident of the apartment, fits in perfectly with the group, and she also likes Christopher. However, this is alleviated by self-pity and depressing heartache. Because he wants to reconcile with Elizabeth.

Mortenas Tyldumas (g. 1967), baigęs Niujorko vizualinių menų akademiją, dirbo „NRK“ televizijos programoje vaikams „U“. Jis yra vienas sėkmingiausių Norvegijos režisierių, inscenizavęs keletą trumpų dramų. Labiausiai išgarsėjo juosta apie Konservatorių partiją „Daugiausia žmonių gyvena Kinijoje“ („Folk flest bor i Kina“, 2002), ironiškai vaizduojančia šiuolaikinę ideologiją. „Draugelis“ yra jo debiutinis vaidybinis filmas.
