Only in recent years have Icelandic bands and performers come to the attention of the international music scene. With Björk and, more recently, the band Sigur Rós, tremendous interest has been generated and the world press has tired to guess roots from which the vibrant Reykjavik scene has grown – and to guess the next big name to emerge from Iceland’s capital city. This is a feature-length documentary on the Icelandic music scene with Sigur Rós, Björk, Hilmar Örn and many other artists.
