About the film

Argentinian fashion designer Lina travels to Switzerland to accept a prestigious award. Yet rather than fulfilling a long-held dream, the moment strikes her as meaningless. Acting on a sudden impulse, Lina plunges into an icy river. Back in Buenos Aires, she develops a crippling fear of water that begins to interfere with even the simplest tasks. Work, marriage, motherhood: Lina starts to question the foundations of her life, drifting ever further from the world around her. With echoes of the female protagonists of Michelangelo Antonioni and Chantal Akerman, this psychological drama explores the expectations placed on women in contemporary society while casting a critical eye on the cold, elitist world of fashion.
