When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian troops seized the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Turning the site into a military base, they attempted to advance on Kyiv, just a few hundred kilometers away. Their criminal activities in the radioactive zone were captured by surveillance cameras secretly operated by Ukrainian workers at the plant. Special Operation is a stark testimony to the events of the war, with every frame serving as evidence of the war crimes committed by Russian soldiers.
