Colin, an insecure young man searching for love, notices his dream partner in a bar: Ray (played by Alexander Skarsgård), tall, blond, clad in a biker jacket, and radiating confidence. To Colin’s astonishment, Ray asks him out, and he is soon drawn into a relationship of dominance and submission. Torn by this new role—where pleasure and pain converge—he gradually begins to define his own romantic identity. Erotic yet tender, British director Harry Lighton’s powerful debut explores the intricate dynamics of BDSM relationships.
