Suzanne arrives at her sister Jeanne’s doorstep with her children. At first, it seems she wants to restore their long-lost bond. But the next morning the illusion shatters – Suzanne is gone. With the police unable to act when an adult disappears by choice, Jeanne’s anger slowly gives way to the realization that she has become the new mother of two children she barely knows.
