Only seventeen, Vera Brandes went against her parents’ wishes to become Germany’s youngest concert promoter. Determined and full of belief in her dream, she booked the Cologne Opera House and organized the legendary Keith Jarrett concert. An improvised performance that, due to a series of mishaps, nearly didn’t happen, it turned into a musical miracle – Jarrett’s recording remains the best-selling jazz album of all time. Köln 75 is a film based on true events: a story of jazz, the struggles of the music world, and the price of one courageous young woman’s dream.
