Kaloyan, tattooed from head to toe, returns to his native Bulgaria to sell his deceased father's apartment. A huge investment project is launched in Koko's hometown, with the construction of a casino, a hotel and a golf course. Many houses will be demolished and the town's cemetery relocated. Although he never spoke or communicated with his father, the responsibility of taking care of the remains falls on his shoulders. As he watches the houses being demolished and the bones being dug out from under the ground, Koko slowly brings to life not only the portrait of his once-hated father, but also the collective memory of his people, by listening to the stories of the locals. Pavel G. Vesnakov is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Bulgarian cinema.
