In the bustling heart of a city, Bernardas and Silvija share an unconventional living arrangement, residing together in the same apartment despite their past as husband and wife. Their coexistence revolves around a meticulously planned schedule, carefully designed to minimize interaction and prevent any emotional turbulence. But life has a peculiar way of throwing unexpected curveballs. One ordinary day, a young man named Lukas arrives at their doorstep, clutching a newspaper that holds a cryptic message for Silvija. As the trio navigates this peculiar situation, Bernardas is reminded of a time when he first encountered Silvija through a similarly enigmatic newspaper ad in a dimly lit hotel room.

Augustė Gerikaitė
Augustė Gerikaitė is a Vilnius based short fiction and documentary film director. She grew up in a small coastline town Kretinga, Lithuania. Her passion for film started in primary school, when she started making small films with her classmates. Life in a small town gave a possibility to observe and analyze human relations and interactions. Since then this has become a main topic and point of interest for Auguste. After she graduated from high-school, Auguste took a two year course in photography in Vilnius and at the same time she was making attempts to learn more about the process of film directing by working on set as a production assistant in Lithuanian feature films. She is currently studying film directing in the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) in Vilnius as well as teaching film acting for adults and working in the costume department internationally. Auguste is a writer-director, she prefers to write her own scripts, which she then directs, looking at life from the point of view of absurdity and dramedy. She is particularly interested in the relationships between people and how they change depending on the age and time people have spent living together. In regard to documentary filmmaking, her attention falls on borderline, lonely people, who, once surrounded by fame, now have been forgotten. People who live in passion for what they do, despite the fact, that nowadays it might matter only to themselves. Her latest short film "Closer" is a personal experience inspired adaptation of two Lithuanian authors S. Parulskis and L.S. Černiauskaitė, that looks at the matter of marriage and love.
