In the near future, no animals or plants are left on Earth and the remaining humans are living under in a closed city under a plastic dome. The price of their survival is very high: as soon as they reach 50 years of age, a particular seed is implanted in them, transforming them into a tree that will provide oxygen and food to the rest of the community. A young man, Stefan, accepts the rules of the system until the moment his wife, Nora, decides to renounce her life and volunteers for implantation. Driven by his love for her, Stefan rebels in order to save her.
