Based loosely on the myth of Conan the Barbarian, Mandico’s latest time-traveling fantasy turns the main protagonist into a woman. The titular Conann recalls her life throughout various eras, from prehistoric times to a gritty, warped 1980s New York, accompanied by the bizarre half-dog, half-man mutant, Rainer. Featuring his trademark bizarre humor, phenomenal set pieces, and over-the-top approach to filmmaking, She Is Conann is a trippy spectacle tailor-made for audiences who appreciate the weird and wild.
