Gün returns to her hometown following the death of her beloved grandmother. In no time, she starts to face burial procedures and the culture in which she has already become a stranger. She constantly encounters an obstacle or a new necessity. While she has a heavy cross to bear, she cannot do only one thing.

Beril Tan
Beril Tan received her BA in Film and Television Studies from Istanbul Bilgi University. She focused on visual culture, consultative direction, and film grammar. She worked as a second assistant director in numerous television series and film sets. She finished her first Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism funded short film, A Different Kind Of Mourn (Farklı Bir Yas), right after she graduated.
