About the film

In August 1928 at a Baltic Sea resort, a Russian baron enters the life of the wealthy but progressive-minded Octavia. It quickly turns out that he is a refugee from the USSR forced to leave because of his involvement in a political incident involving Sergei Eisenstein and Stalin. But the fraudulent baron is not the only one with secrets. The estate workers have been plagued by strange rashes and bites for some time. Could it be that the lovely heiress has been siphoning off peasant blood?

Julian Radlmaier

Julian Radlmaier studied Film and Art History in Berlin and Paris, and then worked as an assistant director for Werner Schroeter.
