Christmas holidays in Iceland. 56 independent scenes draws a portrait, both biting and tender, of modern day country during the often turbulent but also exciting time during a year. This collection touch upon the universals of our humanity. The characters struggle with their solitude, their fears, their present and their past. A contemporary panorama by turns ironic and caustic, Echo allows each character to question their place in the society they live in.
