In an English convent in the Himalayas the conflict between duty and desire, the soul and the flesh, is ablaze. Underneath their wimples, all the nuns have red hair: one of them can handle the inner turmoil, another has eyes of fire and loses control. Breathtaking views reconstructed in the studio and pychodelic Technicolor for a movie which was first snubbed by the critics and then became a cult.
