With his wife lying in a coma, each day of a middle-aged lawyer's life begins tears. But despite this sadness, he is happy. Showered with pity from his secretary, his dry cleaner, and his neighbours, the man realizes how much better his life is. He’s grown accustomed to pity—addicted even. When suddenly, his wife gets better.

Babis Makridis
Babis Makridis studied film direction at the Stavrakos Film School in Athens. He started working as a director in 2000 and has since directed many commercials and videos. His debut feature, “L”, screened at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, the Rotterdam International Film Festival, and others. Pity is his second feature film.
