After 26 years of spinning dives and flying uppercuts in the ring, Cassandro, the star of the gender-bending cross-dressing Mexican wrestlers known as the Exoticos, is far from retiring. But with dozens of broken bones and metal pins in his body, he must now reinvent himself.

Marie Losier directed several avant-garde portraits of such artists as Alan Vega, Jonas Mekas and Genesis P-Orridge during her spare time, in the weekends, and with no funding. Her first feature film, "The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye" (2011), screened in more than 200 festivals around the world and won several awards. The first complete retrospective of her films is scheduled to take place at the MoMA (NYC), in November 2018.
