Fikret attentively watches the road and the passing-by cars. She could recognise the sound of one particular car even in the middle of the night. This sound fills in the women’s heart with joy and impatience: it’s Halil, her husband, returning from a business trip. But this time the waiting time is longer than usual and Fikret begins to fear the worst. Trying not to give in, she delves inside her memory and imagination.
