Rachel Hubli works as a waitress in an idyllic Swiss town. But her personal life is far from an idyll. Her husband Tom works day and night and she herself experiences too much stress to focus on her son Flo. While searching the bookstore for literature on how to improve their married sex life, she accidentally encounters Ben, a former member of their music band and a former lover. Ben successfully broke into the show business and writes pop songs in Berlin. It turns out Ben returned to town to marry the arrogant movie star Tinka. The two celebrities in the small town are hoping to get married quietly and modestly. The wedding should be ... Rachel. Things get complicated when Rachel realizes that she still feels something for Ben, and the man doesn’t seem to have yet decided to mix the rings with Tinka ...
