It is an unconventional and very emotional look at the Russia-Georgia war. Traveling to each other on the front lines, the directors of "Russian Lessons" reveal the role of the common man in modern warfare and only then begin to draw political conclusions. The creators inextricably compare the current situation in the region and the actions of the Russian government with the Soviet methodology: the public, despite all the United Nations resolutions, knows about the events only in this way and the way Moscow wants it. And when all of Europe’s eyes were focused on Milosevic, considered the greatest evil in the post-black world, terrorist and ethnic cleansing campaigns took place right next door in Georgia.
“I will continue to make films about things that seem important to me. My mission is to reveal those problems of my country that seem important to the whole world, "said director Andrei Nekrasov.
