Algimantas Maceina is a director, born in 1958. April 23 Prienai district Gates in the village. In 1985 he graduated from the Theater Faculty of the LSSR State Conservatory. 1985-1988 worked as an assistant director at the Lithuanian Film Studio. 1987 He played the main role of Vytautas the Great in Maironis' play "Death of Kęstutis" at the Old Town Theater.
