About the film

Just imagine, you wake up and don’t remember anything. Absolutely nothing. Imagine a life without a past when you don’t know people who know you. Imagine that you need to rediscover the whole world. And, in the end, imagine that’s what happens to you in China while riding a train. "In Search of Memory" is a true story about Oivinda Omoda, who suddenly lost his memories of about 27 years of his life. He forgot everything. EVERYTHING! For most people, it would have been a horrible and intimidating experience, but for Oivind, it was an adventure. He’s not traumatized, doesn’t feel paralyzed, but is very curious. He wants to know what happened, together he wants to know what rustic cheese or blueberry cake tastes like.
