The Mosquito Problem and Other Stories

Problemat s komarite i drugi istorii Director Andrey Paounov

1 hr. 40 min. · Bulgaria, 2007 · Documentary · Bulgarian · Subtitles: Lithuanian, English · N/A

About the film

The small town and its inhabitants are full of hope to start a new light life. Massive rusty cranes, foreign investors and joyful hymns by executives about the wonderful future of nuclear power. Only giant and painfully biting mosquitoes interfere. The people of the town are so empathetic to the construction of the future power plant that their logos are drawn on the walls and even in bowls. However, this euphoria only hides stories of the past that no one wants to remember about shocking and horrific crimes.
