It turns out that behind us, well-known Iceland, lies another - the invisible Iceland, where the huldufólk lives - hidden people. This phenomenon, rarely discussed by locals, affects not only Icelandic culture but also infrastructure (e.g. road construction and house building). The film offers a journey through the heavenly and mysterious nature and casts doubt on whether we really understand all its secrets. Deepening into the stories of hidden people, it is impossible not to notice that other, mystical and heavenly influence of Iceland.
The darkness of winter allows the dazzling and supernatural glow of the North to illuminate the country with its shapeless light, creating wonderful colours - yellow, pink and green. Black lava rocks, green mossy rocks, geysers, volcanoes and glaciers all play their part in this mystical landscape where wind, snow and light show the power of nature. These amazing images confirm the truth that everything we see every day is very simple, and everything we can’t see is extremely complex.
