The Frozen City is an unadorned chronicle of the ice-covered life of Helsinki, the daily battle and the struggle in which there are no winners. When Matti’s marriage breaks down, he moves to the suburbs of the capital. However, the disaster does not lead one by one - he loses his job as a taxi driver, the court forbids him any contact with his three children. And when his crazy neighbor knocks on Matt’s door every day and complains that his curtainless windows spoil the aesthetic look of the entire building, it becomes clear that all the heartache and resentment will turn into something terrible.
