About the film

A few days before the elections in Denmark, the chairman of the Center Party, who is considered the most realistic candidate for the post of prime minister, is in a serious accident and falls out of the election campaign. This is fueling a particularly fierce battle for power. While parliamentary leader Dreier and a party spokesman are scrambling, Ulrik Torp, a young journalist reporting in the Copenhagen parliament, receives top-secret information. Is there dirty intrigue going on here? Torp reveals a conspiracy that spans the entire country ... The authors of this political thriller weave a lot of anonymous interviews with journalists and politicians into the film's plot. "We are shocked," says Nicholas Arcel, "how many secret stories we learned about the filthy media and abuse of power in preparation for the filming." According to the filmmakers, "although the story of the film is fictitious, its foundation is real."
